Support Our SEN Stay & Play Community Hub

Help us raise £5,000 to continue our Stay & Play community hub open for families of children with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

Run by the not-for-profit organisation Clapping Hands CIC, this unique space offers an inclusive and safe space for parents struggling. The hub is a supportive space designed for parents of children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), or those struggling with their child’s diagnosis or challenges. It provides a welcoming and non-judgmental environment where parents can take a break, connect with others facing similar experiences, and receive emotional support. The hub offers a safe space for parents to share their concerns, access resources, and find practical guidance, all while their children engage with others and play.

Many of the families we support are from global majority backgrounds, face language barriers, or are struggling to access traditional services. Our hub provides more than just play — it's a lifeline, offering connection, emotional support, and early intervention.

We need your help to continue running these sessions, cover materials, pay facilitators, and keep the space open to those who need it most.
