Help us Support Lori After Crypto Scam

Hi everyone,

We are humbly asking for support for our mom, who recently fell victim to a sophisticated cryptocurrency scam.

The scammers installed malware on her phone and computer, gaining access to her personal information. Posing as a Microsoft representative, and then as a representation from her personal bank, they convinced her that her accounts were compromised and would have to transfer all her money into a new, “secure” account to protect it. This was part of the scam.

Once the funds were transferred through a QR code provided by the scammers at her physical bank, the funds became untraceable and impossible to recover due to the anonymous nature of cryptocurrency transactions.

This has left her in a very difficult financial situation while she simultaneously manages her debilitating health conditions – Stage 4 Sarcoidosis and Neuropathy, and continues to be the primary caretaker for her 90-year-old mother, a breast cancer survivor with late-stage dementia.

We would like to raise $8,000 USD on our family's behalf to help recover the loss of the stolen funds and cover essential expenses, including medical care and daily living costs.
