Hi everyone, my name is Keano, and I currently live in Cobb County, Georgia. I’m originally from St Mary, Jamaica, where many of my close friends and family members still live. I’m raising funds to help them and others in nearby communities recover from the devastating effects of Hurricane Melissa.
The storm has left many people without homes, food, clean water, and basic necessities. Roads are flooded, roofs have been torn off, and families are struggling to find shelter and supplies. These are people I know personally my neighbors, childhood friends, and relatives and I’m committed to getting them the help they urgently need.
I plan to personally travel to Jamaica in December to distribute donations and assist in rebuilding efforts in Trelawny and surrounding parishes. My goal is to make sure that every dollar raised directly supports families in need no middlemen, no overhead costs, just direct help.
Here’s how the funds will be spent:
Emergency supplies: food, water, clothing, blankets, and hygiene kits.
Rebuilding support: materials like tarps, lumber, roofing supplies, and basic tools.
Community assistance: helping repair homes, restock schools, and provide care packages to families most affected.
Transportation & logistics: covering costs to safely transport supplies and ensure everything reaches the right communities.
To ensure complete transparency, all monetary donations will be documented, and receipts will be shared so every supporter can see exactly where the money goes.
I’ve also created an Amazon Wishlist filled with essential items that will be delivered directly to affected families when I travel to Jamaica:
Amazon Wishlist – Hurricane Melissa Relief
This campaign isn’t just for me it’s also a way for my friends and supporters here in America to help their own families back home in Jamaica through a trusted, organized effort. Every donation, no matter how small, makes a difference.
Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and support. Together, we can help bring relief, hope, and restoration to the beautiful people of Jamaica. ❤️
