My names Leanna, and in honor of my late granny Annie, who was a beacon for love and generosity and always looking for ways to help those in need, I’m starting a grassroots fundraiser for our local homeless community in Athens Alabama. This fundraiser begins with Big Mama, a beloved member of our local homeless community. Though she's homeless herself, she's a guiding light to many others around her - always looking out for people, sharing what she has, and offering wisdom and care. She is respected, trusted, and loved.

Right now, Big Mama and others in her circle are in need of:

• A microwave to warm meals

• Basic toiletries (soap, wipes, deodorant, toothbrushes, pads, etc.)

• A small buffer for recurring needs or emergencies

We're hoping to raise $400 to meet these immediate needs and to begin laying the foundation for something bigger: Granny Annie's Hands - a lifelong mission to provide dignity, warmth, and community to people too often forgotten.

Every donation will go directly to supplies and I'll share updates, receipts, and photos (with permission) to keep everything transparent and rooted in trust.
