Support Mom and Five Kids in Need

Hello Everyone,

I want to humbly ask for your prayers and support for a dear friend of mine and her young children. God brought her family into my life six years ago through our sons’ soccer games, and He has continued to connect us over the past several years in very providential ways. My friend has five children, ranging from age one to eleven years old. She is a faithful, dedicated, hardworking, joyful, and incredibly loving mother and friend. Since I met her, her faithfulness and kindness have been a constant example to me, but especially so over the past year as I’ve witnessed her carry a very difficult cross. About a year ago, her husband abandoned them to be with another woman. As heartbreaking and challenging as this has been for all of them, she has remained ever more vigilant and faithful to her vocation as a mother and to her Catholic faith. With so many little ones, though, she has been unable to find work and childcare, and has gone without an income, living on the providence of God as she strives to navigate such a difficult time. Will you please pray for them, especially for this husband and father, but I ask that you also prayerfully consider offering whatever financial assistance you can for them. They are very much in need. Her close friends have been helping financially as much as possible, and she is pursuing legal action, but it is now beyond the point of her needing further assistance from our wider community, as she has not been able to make ends meet. Just a few weeks ago, her minivan broke down, and since it is unrepairable, she is now without a car. She is someone who would never ask for herself, so I am asking on her behalf and for her beautiful, sweet children. Thank you for considering how you can bless this family.
