Support Our Legal Fight to Protect W. Newton

Donation protected
Our W. Newton community recently achieved an important first step in the fight to protect our neighborhood’s safety and quality of life through a positive court ruling. However, this victory is only the beginning of a longer process. To ensure that court orders are respected and upheld, we must prepare for further legal proceedings. We are seeking support to cover the ongoing costs associated with enforcing this decision and preserving the peaceful environment our residents deserve.

Background:
For several years, the area around the corner of W. Newton and the Southern Corridor has faced repeated issues that disrupt our residents’ peace and security. After exhausting all other options, we turned to the legal system for relief. Recently, the court ruled in our favor, recognizing the need to address these disruptions. However, enforcing this decision requires additional steps, including potential contempt proceedings, to ensure accountability and a long-term solution.
  • Protecting Our W. Newton Community: The costs associated with continuing this legal action are significant. Each step in the process brings fees that place a burden on our community. With your help, we can ensure that the court’s decision is upheld and that our neighborhood remains a safe, welcoming place for all.

How You Can Help:
We are reaching out to friends, family, and community partners to help us reach our goal of $30,000. These funds will be used to cover legal fees, court filing costs, and any additional expenses directly associated with seeing this court ruling through to full enforcement.
  • Why Your Support Matters: Your contribution will help us maintain a secure and respectful environment for all residents. By supporting this cause, you’re helping to protect everyone’s right to a peaceful home in the W. Newton neighborhood.

Thank You:
Thank you for supporting our efforts to preserve a safe and peaceful community around W. Newton. Every donation, no matter the size, brings us closer to a lasting solution. Please share this campaign with others who believe in safe and welcoming neighborhoods.
