****Updated list of what's needed below**** Hi, we’re Melissa and Charles, and we’re reaching out with open hearts and a big goal. Our family is preparing to welcome our beloved nephew into our home through foster care. He’s a bright, resilient child who deserves safety, stability, and love—and we’re ready to give him all of that and more.

However, before we can bring him home, our space needs a few crucial updates to meet safety and licensing requirements for fostering. If you know me, I hate having to ask for help. Whatever it is, I'm more than likely to say we will figure it out. That being said, I realize that I do in fact need help.

Here are the items we would need help with:

-- junk haul away---approx $100-150. We have someone that is donating their time and truck.

--carpet cleaning- $250-- we are borrowing carpet cleaner but depending on if we can get stains out, this would be to rent an extractor

--2 new inner bedroom doors-- approx $200. We have one door generously donated to us. I may have a solution to the other door, so this may change.

--screen replaced on screen door- $40 ✔️ thanks to donation this was purchased

--child dresser ✔️ this has been generously donated

--replace 2 smoke detectors and buy carbon monoxide detectors ✔️ These have been generously donated

--storage bins ✔️ These have been generously donated

--shed- for backyard pesticides/propane tank- approx $200/300- this may not be needed....thanks to donation, was able yo buy child proof lock and lock for propane tank.

These changes are necessary to provide the safe and nurturing environment he needs and deserves.

We’re asking for your help to make this possible. Every contribution, no matter the size, brings us one step closer to reuniting our nephew with family and giving him a safe place to grow and heal.
