I offered to do what I could to help some friends who are very active members of my church adopt a baby girl.

I asked Mallory to put in her own words how she feels and why they are seeking help.

"Our blessed family are practicing Christians. We believe in the power of prayer and are guided by the direction we are led.

In July of 2022, a friend made a joke about adopting a baby. While it has always been on our hearts, we spent many hours praying and reflecting and decided to embark on our fostering journey. We felt it would be a true blessing to add to our family of 3 children.

After numerous obstacles, we were finally licensed on a Friday in late Sept 2023, and to our surprise, we were blessed with a beautiful baby girl that following Monday. After several stressful court dates, many tears, and answered prayers, we are going to get to adopt this precious child who completes our family.

Adoption comes with some very high costs, even when going through the state. We are asking for lots of prayers as we navigate this unexpected expense. We are seeking any help that your heart leads you to give. Thank you!"
