Our crossing guard and dear friend, Mr. Lynn, has served our families with so much love and care throughout this time and has cared for our children like they were his own.

Mr. Lynn is a cancer survivor, which brought him some financial struggles; despite all the challenges, he always has a big smile and greets everyone with love during mornings and afternoons in front of our school. Around a month ago, his car broke down permanently, which made him extremely worried and sad. Just like us, he needs the car to have his personal freedom and access jobs and services.

Mr. Lynn is a senior citizen with a fixed income and alone with no family. I have been driving him to his post every morning; however, I wanted to start this GoFundMe to be able to raise money for him to buy a car. With summer break being a month away, I want to make sure he’ll be able to have the resources necessary to continue supporting and strengthening our community.
