Hi! I work for a community non profit that serves children and their families that attend alternative schools for mental health, behavioral health, and special education needs. My program is opening a food pantry due to 95% of the children we serve being on medical assistance and SNAP benefits. In light of the SNAP benefit shut down, along with just serving our children in general with basic needs regardless, we are asking for any donations to keep the food pantry running long term even after the government shut down. At the moment, staff is fully funding the pantry out of their own paychecks. We thank you so much and any donation counts!!
