Recently this year in March we found out and confirmed in April that my husband has a daughter. It's a long story but to sum it up, we need help with some funding. This was very unexpected but not a bad thing. We are going through a lot so if you have a bunch of questions, we can answer them in the future.

The child (under the age of 10) is exposed in an environment that we need help with getting her out of. The mother is currently fighting legally to do as much as she can, and we are in support with her. We are a big key to getting her out of that and permanently into a safe environment.

Not to go into too much detail but when the child is in the care of her Legal Father (man on the birth certificate) she is put off with his other family members and there is heavy suspicion of sexual abuse coming from around that household. We are trying all we can to get her away from that but with our current situation, the fees are a little out of reach for us.

Since my husband is the Biological Father, we need a lawyer to help us file against the Legal Father. We need to file to terminate the Legal Fathe's parental rights over her. Once that is complete, she will be removed from his shared custody over her. She will then safely be in her mother's custody. We got a quote from a lawyer, but I have set the goal to more just for wiggle room on fees.
