An Update on Our Family in Gaza — Thank You for Your Support

First and foremost, thank you to everyone who donated to our previous fundraiser, shared it, prayed for our family, or supported us in any way. We are deeply grateful for every single person who stood beside our family during one of the darkest and most unimaginable periods of their lives.

When we originally started this fundraiser, our primary goal was to raise enough money to help our family members leave Gaza and reach safety. Unfortunately, despite our best efforts and the support of so many generous people, getting them out of Gaza proved to be nearly impossible. We encountered roadblock after roadblock, and ultimately, we were unable to get our family members out.

Although we were unable to accomplish our original goal, your donations made an enormous difference.

The money raised through the previous fundraiser helped keep our family alive and supported them through nearly 2.5 years of unimaginable hardship. Your generosity allowed them to purchase food, water, hygiene products, medicine, everyday necessities, and many other essentials that most of us take for granted. During a time when access to even the most basic necessities became incredibly difficult, your donations provided our family with a lifeline.

For nearly 2.5 years, you helped our family survive.

For that, we will forever be grateful.

We Are Asking for Your Help Again

Unfortunately, the situation remains extremely difficult, and our family continues to need our support.

Our family is currently living in a tent in extremely harsh conditions. Their living area is surrounded by and infested with rats, leaving them without the safety, stability, and basic dignity of having a secure place to live.

Our primary goal with this fundraiser is to raise enough money to help them purchase an RV, giving them a shelter with a roof over their heads and a safer, more stable place to live.

But an RV alone will not solve everything. A family of 15 still needs food, clean water, hygiene products, clothing, medicine, household supplies, and countless other daily necessities. We are raising funds to help provide these essentials and to continue supporting them through this horrific time.

There is another important reason we are raising funds.

Because there are currently no functioning schools available for these children and teenagers to attend, members of our family have taken it upon themselves to provide free tutoring sessions to children in their community.

They are doing everything they can to give children some form of education despite the circumstances they are living through. These tutoring sessions provide children and teenagers with an opportunity to continue learning when they otherwise would have little or no access to education.

We are also raising money to help provide the supplies and resources needed for these tutoring sessions so they can continue helping other children in their community. The funds will also help provide a better and more suitable space for these tutoring sessions, such as a separate tent where the children can learn in a safer, more organized, and more comfortable environment.
