Yesterday, August 8th, our family’s garage caught on fire, leaving behind extensive damage and a huge mess to clean up. The structure is unstable, and before we can even remove what’s inside, we’ll need to bring in a crew to secure or partially dismantle the garage—possibly even cut out the back to access what’s left. If insurance doesn’t cover demolition, we’ll have to tear it down ourselves, which means renting heavy equipment and hauling away debris. We’re asking for help to cover the costs of cleanup, stabilization, equipment rental, and any other expenses needed to safely take down what’s left.
