Megan journey of recovery

My name is Megan McCarty; my family and I are in crisis. My Dad has been out of work due to illness. He has been out of work for over 2 1/2 months on and off. He has finally had his surgery and is recovering. We need groceries, medicine, doctor copays and to pay our utility bills.

My Mom has a bad heart and relies on a Defibrillator to keep her heart going. She can't work outside of the home and her heart medications are terribly expensive.

I am having surgery the end of July or the start of September. I need to be in the hospital a couple of days. I still owe them $300.00 as a co pay. I don't know how we are going to raise the money for so many different things. I need to get my stomach repaired. I also have big hernia and my esophagus needs to be repaired. I have been so sick for so long. I have not been able to keep food down I lost so much weight it made my mom so heart broken. Now I need all of the tests and surgery I am so scared that I am not strong enough to do this; but I am trying so hard to stay strong.

My family and I have never asked for any kind of help. In fact, we are usually the first ones to lend a helping hand. I can't tell you how hard this has been on our family. We are staying strong in the faith that God is watching over us. Even a dollar would help us. Anything would be so very much appreciated. Prayers are so welcomed and needed.
