Hello, I decided to start a GoFundMe to adopt our grandkids. They have lived with us for ten years now. We are providing a better life, but the state of WI has been no help with costs. We have done this on our own with little help from the state. We want to adopt the children to put them under my military benefits, which gives them an education and insurance after they turn 18. We have been told we need a home study, and that alone is $2400. We also have to have background checks completed with fingerprints. Additionally, we still have to go to the courts and complete all the paperwork to make them part of our family. The kids are ages 15, 13, and 10. We love them with everything we have and treat them as our own. My hope is to get some help as this has already dwindled our savings. We still have everyday bills and needs that need to be met. Any help would be greatly appreciated to make this dream come true for our family.
