Support Laiana’s Fight Against Eye Cancer

Donation protected
I decided to make a GoFundMe because we recently found out our 1-year-old daughter has a rare eye cancer, retinoblastoma. For the last week, we have been staying at St. Jude’s Hospital in Memphis, TN, a 5-hour drive from home. Her first round of chemo is scheduled for Tuesday. Intra-arterial chemotherapy (IAC), also known as regional chemotherapy, is a specialized treatment for retinoblastoma, where chemotherapy drugs are delivered directly to the tumor via a catheter inserted into a blood vessel near the groin. As long as there are no complications, we should be able to go back home Wednesday or Thursday. We will have to travel from Illinois to Tennessee, every 3-4 weeks for the next 6 months to finish her chemo. I currently work at a daycare, but with everything going on, I'm not sure when I will be able to return to work. I’m not one who likes to ask for help often but we still have a long journey ahead of us. Any amount is truly appreciated. & If you can’t donate, we understand. Feel free to share our story. ❤️
