Our hardworking "Superman" father was just diagnosed with Large B Cell Lymphoma. Large B-cell lymphoma is a type of blood cancer in your lymphatic system. In B-cell lymphoma, abnormal lymphocytes (a type of white blood cell) multiply to form tumors. Your lymphatic system is a large network of organs, vessels, and tissues, so B-cell lymphoma can develop in many places in your body and cause different symptoms.
This man has been the pillar of Northeast Ohio (Massillon, Perry, Carrollton, etc.) for the last 50 years. He is known by so many people in this community from his time working at the Timken Company for 30 years, or when he was a volunteer firefighter at Perry Township Station 3.
He was and still is the rock and foundation of our family. As we go through these difficult times figuring out treatments and the way forward, now that our father, who was the breadwinner, cannot work, I am asking if you can donate to help our mother out in this time while she takes care of everything my dad used to as the Steiner he is. Being the proud man he is he would never ask for anything and would work his behind off to make sure our mother didn't go without.
If you cannot support, it is ok. Please keep our family in your prayers as we negotiate this journey together.
