We’re a local co-op being forced out of our current space and trying to find a new home after our landlord made it clear they don’t support what we stand for. What we’ve built means a lot to us and to the people who’ve found a sense of belonging here. At its heart, this space is rooted in anti-fascist values and a deep commitment to being openly LGBTQ+ inclusive, as well as a safe and welcoming place for people with disabilities and neurodivergent folks—a space where people can show up as they are and know they won’t be judged or pushed out.

Over time, it’s become more than just a venue. It’s where someone plays their first show, where artists put their work out into the world without being priced out, where people gather, share stories, and feel less alone. We’ve tried to keep things accessible, giving artists a way to sell their work without heavy fees and offering musicians a space where they actually get to keep what they earn. It’s about making sure creativity doesn’t get shut down by money or gatekeeping.

We also stay closely connected with groups like Bristol Action Group, showing up for mutual aid efforts, benefit events, and whatever the community needs in the moment. Whether it’s helping raise funds, sharing skills, or just creating a place for people to come together, this space has always been about care and solidarity.

Losing this location hurts, but we’re not ready to let go of what this space has become. We’re trying to move, rebuild, and keep this going—not just for us, but for everyone who’s been part of it and everyone who hasn’t found it yet.
