To all Wirral parents - we are asking for your support for an amazing cause.

Our child has recently had a long stay in Arrowe park hospital on the children’s ward. The ward is small with rooms and bays for poorly children. The nurses dedication and care is second to none and the play specialists really go out of their way to bring a smile to the children’s faces. They go above and beyond - turning a small cupboard into a grotto doesn’t sound like much but it really was magical.

The reason this go fund me has been set up, is because we want to thank the ward for their amazing care- the ward has many people, companies and charity donations but we also want to do our bit to say THANK YOU! 

Our plan is to buy bravery gifts, and daily essentials like stickers bubbles etc to distract and gift our little brave soldiers. And also a few additions to the play room. 

I don’t know if you have ever seen a young child get their blood taken but it’s not for the weak- that teddy she received afterwards gave her the smile we needed to see to get over the trauma of seeing our baby in pain.

The play room is amazing- a little slice of joy where children in pain can go and maybe forget about it for 5 minutes- again the smiles are priceless for us as parents.

We ask for toys (new or old) , fidget toys for distraction techniques, bravery gifts, (donated directly to the ward )and cash donations via this site

Our plan is to reach £500 and ask the ward for a wish list where we will go out and buy and deliver.

There is no such thing as a small donation. If you can spare £1 then we thank you as that £1 will brighten a sick child’s day.
