Enlighten Dental Care (The office of Dr. Daniel Driscoll) embarked on their first team mission trip in 2023 to Ecuador. Dr. Dan met Marco and Mayra Vinicio through his church, Ardmore Baptist, and they hit it off immediately. Dr Dan felt led to help their community and began making plans to bring our dental team to some of the most remote parts of Ecuador.

Marco and his wife volunteer for Rescate Ecuador, a foundation in the town of Cajabamba. His father, Miguel, started the foundation in the early 2000's and they currently minister to 35 locations, in addition to partnering with local schools to promote higher education in the community. The indigenous peoples in neighboring towns and communities are served by his foundation in many ways. One of their primary needs is medical and dental care.

Building off the success of our past trips, we returned back in April 2025 with not only our dental team, but also a medical component, eyeglasses and pharmacist. During the trip we provided care to 550 patients. Our entire staff was greatly blessed by the humbleness, pure love and gratitude of the people. We are committed to our partnership with Rescate Ecuador and are making this an annual mission.

As you can imagine a lot goes into planning for these types of trips. We decided to reach out to our family, friends and patients to help bless and fund our next trip. We will all be leaving our husbands, wives, children and income for a total of 8 days! No matter how big or small, every donation moves us closer to our goal and will be used directly to serve the wonderful people of that community with much needed medical care and to help spread the word of God.
