I’m reaching out to share something personal. As a DACA recipient, it’s time for me to renew my application—a process that’s not only critical to my ability to work and live here, but also comes with a significant cost.

Recently, I had to move to a new apartment, which has left me in a tight financial spot. In the past, I’ve been fortunate to receive support from Catholic Charities, who typically cover the DACA renewal fee through a scholarship. Unfortunately, due to everything that’s been happening in LA over the past few months, their funding has run out this time around.
