Support Orphans In Mauritania This Ramadan

We are raising £5000 to host a programme for orphans at an orphanage in Mauritania this Ramadan.

The programme will involve giving the children food/water, gifts and bringing sheikhs to host classes for them.

These children have lost the care and love of their parents so it is our duty as an ummah to support them. They are some of the most vulnerable members of our society and we must fulfil out duty towards them. Imagine how great the reward is for putting a smile on their innocent faces!

I know the sheikh hosting this event and I will personally make sure every donation is used towards the care of the orphans.

The Prophet, on him be peace, said: 'I and the one who sponsors an orphan shall be in Paradise like these two' — and he raised his index finger and the one next to it, holding them together, barely separate” (Bukhari, No. 5304).
