Oreo is a wonderful, sweet, and empathetic friend, family member, and cat. He has been with Julia through thick and thin, and they share a very special, close bond. Unfortunately, a few days ago Oreo was having trouble going to the bathroom. His stomach began to appear bloated, and he started throwing up. Julia took him to the emergency vet, and the costs of his medical care are too much to bear. Julia works with children, and so far the medical bills have piled up to $3,100. Oreo underwent blood work and tests and was given medication. He had a catheter placed in him to hopefully help clear the stones that are blocking him from being able to pee. This morning, there was an update that Oreo rested overnight and has been recovering well from his blockage. He still needs this continued supportive care for his treatment. The catheter and bloodwork will continue to be monitored for the next 48 hours.
