This year Opportunity Works is honoring me with its 2025 Changemaker Award for my work celebrating and supporting our friends and neighbors with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. That work has only been possible thanks to all of you who have championed my efforts and what we know is so important in our community.

Your response since I announced I was leaving the Fox 61 Morning News has been overwhelming. I feel the love. Tens of thousands of you shared in the moment and I’m still reading hundreds of your heartfelt messages of support and appreciation. I want you to know that our movement to celebrate the people in our community who need us the most will continue.

While I wait to announce what I will do next professionally, I hope if you believe like I do that making space for people of ALL ABILITIES is important, that you will consider making a donation or sharing this page.
