About the Initiative:
In the aftermath of Hurricane Melissa, many Jamaicans, especially across Western Jamaica have suffered devastating losses. Homes, livelihoods, and stability have been swept away.
Operation Restore Jamaica is our mission to bring help, hope, and healing to those most affected. This humanitarian initiative is being led by Richard “Richie B” Burgess, a respected and trusted voice in Jamaican broadcasting for almost 40 years.
As CEO of Richie B Radio and host of the popular Richie B Morning Show, Richie B has always used his platform to serve the nation, uplifting communities, championing local causes, and working tirelessly in the national interest. Now, through this initiative, he and his team are taking that spirit of service directly to the people who need it most.
Our Mission:
Your donations will go directly toward providing:
Food, toiletries, and personal care items for immediate relief
Light construction materials to help families rebuild and repair
And ultimately, to build a small home in each of the most affected parishes of St. James, Trelawny, Hanover, St. Elizabeth, and Westmoreland for a family in need
This is about more than rebuilding structures, it’s about restoring lives, dignity, and hope.
