Help Operation Jericho in memory of USMC Sgt John Matt Jr.

At Operation Jericho, our mission is to empower combat veterans and first responders who have faced traumatic situations by fostering a sense of purpose, community, and valor in the heart of East Texas. Rooted in faith, we provide opportunities to work with animals, engage in challenging outdoor tasks, and participate in scenarios where they can demonstrate courage and resilience. Through shared experiences with like-minded individuals from similar backgrounds, we create a supportive environment that emphasizes growth, camaraderie, and fulfillment. While not a mental health facility, Operation Jericho offers a holistic approach to personal growth, connection, and the rediscovery of purpose in life.

This fundraising effort was initiated by the family of recently decease USMC Sgt John Matt Jr. John served 2 Iraq tours in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. They have requested donations in his name. Our prayers go out to his family.

The proceeds from this campaign will directly support the development of essential infrastructure on the land secured for Operation Jericho. These funds will be allocated towards key activities, including land clearing, acquisition of necessary equipment, and logistical support, including supplies and vehicles. Our goal is to be fully operational by January 1, 2026, and your generous contributions will help make this vision a reality.
