Support One7 Ministries' Community Outreach

One7 Ministries is a beautiful ministry that aims to "Restore Charlotte's inner city from within."

In their words, "We put the Gospel into action, living and serving the refugee and immigrant communities in Charlotte, NC through our transitional housing, soccer, and outreach programs."

Along with these programs, One7 runs a K-8th grade academy for many children in need of more educational support, in order to prepare them for high school and college.

I became involved with this ministry through my mom. She started volunteering her time at the school this past year, and one day when I was free, I thought, why not? I went along with her, and I fell in love the second I walked through their doors. Every aspect of what they do is incredibly inspiring, from the dedicated hard work and care of the teachers to the excitement and love of learning from every kid there. As I became more involved, I learned more about the other aspects of this ministry, and I became even more in awe. One7 has created a beautiful, uplifting, and Christ-centered community for so many families, young adults, and children. They exemplify the definition of being the hands and feet of Jesus, and I am so incredibly blessed to be a part of this community.

My goal is to raise enough money to cover a dinner for their community outreach event, feeding 100-125 people, as well as a lunch donation for the school. The goal I have set is a little high for just the two of these combined, so the rest of any proceeds will be directly donated to the school to support any essential needs.
