It is with a heavy heart that we share the devastating news that Olympus, the puppy we were working so hard to save, has passed away. Despite the tireless efforts of his foster mom and the team of doctors that worked to save him, his fight was just too much for his tiny body to overcome. We want to express our deepest gratitude to everyone who showed their support—whether through your generous donations, encouraging words, or positive thoughts. Your kindness and generosity was felt throughout the organization. We also want to especially thank Olympus’ foster Zoe, who went to extraordinary lengths to advocate and care for this little pup. We believe that, while his time was short, he felt the love and care that surrounded him, and for that, we are eternally grateful. The funds raised for Olympus' care will be used to cover his medical expenses. While rescue work can be a difficult and heartbreaking journey, we will continue our mission to give every animal a fighting chance, and Olympus’ spirit will live on through the work we do.

Recently, Olympus was rushed to NC State Emergency Veterinary Hospital due to a severe parasite overload, causing his tiny body to struggle just to survive. Despite his young age, Olympus has already shown an incredible fighting spirit, and he deserves every chance to live a healthy, happy life.

To support his recovery, Olympus has already undergone one blood transfusion and might need another. Our dedicated foster has been by his side every step of the way, ensuring he’s getting the love and care he needs.
