Hi! I'm Emily and my 2 year son is Oliver. Oliver was born with a brain injury called Hpoxic-ischemic encephalopathy or HIE. Oliver has had developmental delays since birth and now attends four weekly therapies (speech/language, occupational, physical, and developmental). I was living in Nashville when I found out I was pregnant and we lived there until summer of 2023. We then moved back to the Knoxville area to be closer to family and have more support. My mom graciously kept Oliver at home with her for 6 months and then he started a Parent's Day Out program which was successful for about 5 months. Oliver's delays have continued and he started to show behavioral issues including his ability to regulate emotions and he was formally diagnosed with Autism in September 2024. PDO unfortunately did not work out however, Oliver was accepted into a blended Early Learning Center where he attends 5 days a week. His teachers are trained in early childhood education and have experience working with children with and without special needs. This program has been a game-changer for Oliver- his motivation to use language has grown immensely, he is attempting to be social with his peers, and he is overall much happier. He is thriving with the routines and consistency this program brings. He does struggle whenever he can't go which shows us that this program is what he needs! I do not want to pull Oliver from this program which is why I am humbly asking for monetary donations.

Due to a recent situation, I am asking for support in paying for Oliver's daycare. I am seeking short-term support and any donations will go directly towards daycare and other fees/expenses related to Oliver and our current situation.
