Support Olde Coloma Theatre's Revival

We've suffered storm damage and siding damage to our beloved almost 100 yr. old building. We were closed during the COVID pandemic but with barely a penny to our name, we were able to re-open. Our theatre is a 501c3 Non-profit corporation and your donations are tax deductible. Located just 1/4 mile from where gold was discovered in California, The Olde Coloma Theatre provides a Gold Rush Education Component to our programming for school districts.

Our evening show provides live old time Melodrama set in the Gold Rush era of the 1800's. The theatre is in its 52nd year and, in true melodrama fashion, is a fully interactive experience where you boo the villain, cheer the hero and ahhh the heroine… heck, you might even get the chance to become a part of the show. We promote the Arts, offer education, Encourage Talent & Participate in the Community.

Our school education program reenacts the gold discovery in California which occurred just a short walk from the Theatre.

100% of your donations will be designated to repairing the siding, removing damaged trees, installing a drainage system, to alleviate standing water in our parking lot, and we need to replace some of our seating due to wear and tear and water damage.
