Officer Rac is a Correctional Officer who was brutally assaulted yesterday by an inmate while conducting her official duties. She sustained multiple injuries and will be out of work for an undetermined amount of time. With the holidays quickly approaching, we’re asking for any donation to show our support for Officer Rac as she starts her road to recovery. The job of a Correctional Officer is often grueling and thankless, yet she still selflessly conducted her duties. This violence is just a reminder of the dangerous conditions many Correctional staff deal with day in and day out. Despite all the negative aspects of the job, it is our goal to come together as a community to support Officer Rac and allow her to have a safe and worry free recovery.
