In loving memory of Kim Marie Davis we support CO Douglas

Hello everyone, for those who don’t know me, my name is Officer Martinez, A. For all of those who know and have worked with Douglas, we know that he’s an amazing man and coworker and has been with the department for many years. He’s always at work and a pleasure to work with. Douglas was with his fiancé for 18 years and loved her beyond words.

I’m hoping that we can all come together for our brother in blue during his time of grief. Officer Douglas lost his fiancé due to cancer on May 13, 2024. Officer Douglas was my swap partner and always spoke great things about his fiancé and even though he was a private person, he shared with me the bad news earlier in April only because we did swaps. As I was made aware, many people didn’t know about her passing. The news was shared at the MacDougall building, I’m not sure about the Walker building. He hasn’t been to work for a while now and I’m not sure when he will be back.

I hope that we can show Officer Douglas how much we care and that we stand strong for our brother in his time of grief.
