In Support of Monica Alobo Ochora’s Children
On the evening of Friday May 28th, our beloved friend Monica Alobo, wife to Michael Ochora, sadly passed away while receiving treatment for Covid-19 in Gulu, northern Uganda. Affectionately referred to by many as “Alobi”, Monica was a warm and down to earth person. We are deeply shocked and saddened by her death.
She was a Rotarian, teacher, social worker, wife and a devoted mother of 4 adorable boys: Samuel 18, Ethan 16, Emmanuel 13 and Malcolm 7.
Until her death, Monica was playing a big role in financially sustaining the family. Her husband Michael who is endearingly known to many as “Chairman” now has to shoulder the burden alone as a single parent.
We are raising funds to ensure the continuous education of the children and your support will be highly appreciated.
