Some families grow one little miracle at a time. Nylah and Marco welcomed three at once.
Meet Elio, Elias, and Enzo; three beautiful baby boys whose arrival is extraordinary in more ways than one.
Nylah naturally conceived an incredibly rare mixed set of triplets: two identical brothers and one fraternal brother. She then did something equally remarkable; she carried all three boys to exactly 36 weeks, delivering them on Marco’s birthday, just as Dad had hoped. And these little guys came into the world BIG.
Together, Elio, Elias, and Enzo had a combined birth weight of an incredible 19.3 pounds, putting Nylah remarkably close to the world record for the heaviest triplet birth. But to understand just how meaningful this moment is, you have to know a little about their mom.
Nylah is a survivor of NMDA receptor encephalitis, a rare and serious autoimmune disease in which the immune system attacks receptors in the brain.
Nylah spent four months hospitalized and, at the height of her illness, was essentially catatonic. She lost her ability to speak, eat on her own, and walk, and even experienced loss of her vision and hearing. She had to be fed through a feeding tube and eventually had to relearn many of the basic things most of us take for granted.
Her recovery was a journey of learning, rebuilding, and fighting her way back to herself.
After everything she has already overcome, watching Nylah go on to build a beautiful life with Marco, become a mother, and now carry three babies through an exceptionally rare pregnancy makes the arrival of these boys even more extraordinary.
And Nylah didn't do it alone.
Throughout this journey, Marco has been beside her as her husband, partner, and father to their growing family.
Now the two of them are taking on their biggest adventure yet: bringing home three newborns while continuing to raise their two older children, who are both under five years old. Yes, you read that right! Nylah and Marco are now a family of seven, with FIVE children under five.
They are incredibly grateful for five beautiful children, but the reality of caring for three newborns at once is enormous.
There are diapers and wipes for three babies, bottles and formula, clothing, childcare, medical appointments, and everyday household expenses—all while Nylah needs time away from work to recover from carrying and delivering three babies.
One of their biggest practical needs is also transportation.
Their family has grown from four to seven, and they need a safe, reliable vehicle that can actually accommodate five small children, their car seats, a triple stroller, diaper bags, and everything else that comes along with three newborns.
That's why we're asking for a little help from our village.
Every donation will help Nylah and Marco with the everyday costs of raising their five little ones and give them some breathing room as they adjust to this incredible new chapter. $5 helps. $10 helps. $20 helps. And when enough people come together, those small acts of kindness can become something enormous.
If you're unable to donate, please share their story. A share can reach the person who can help, and that is a gift too. Nylah has already overcome more than most people will experience in a lifetime.
She fought her way back from an illness that once took away her ability to speak, eat, walk, see, and hear. Years later, she went on to build a life with Marco, become a mother, and carry three extraordinary little boys weighing 19.3 pounds combined into a home already filled with two little ones waiting to become big siblings.
Nylah carried the weight of three babies. Now we're asking our community to help carry a little of the weight for Nylah and Marco.
Thank you for donating, sharing, praying for, and celebrating this very special family. Welcome to the world, Elio, Elias & Enzo.
