Please Support 20th Anniversary Memorial Performance

My name is Mami Hariyama from NY Dance Artistry - Hariyama Ballet.

2025 will be the 20th anniversary of Hariyama Ballet, my own ballet school.

I am very thankful that I have been able to continue and to come this far for 20 years.

Since I started teaching, I have taught many students and I have found fulfillment, purpose in life, and joy. However, I also sacrificed, and have been put in difficult situations. Being able to do this for 20 years is a really big milestone, and I'm filled with gratitude.

I would like to deeply thank you all very much for your support and encouragement for this performance and for the past 20 years. Without you, we would not be here today.

THIS IS WHAT SPECIAL ABOUT THE 20 YEARS ANNIVERSARY PERFORMANCE!!

It is hard to believe!

I came to New York as a student in 2003, studied English, worked as a ballet pianist, and started my own ballet class teaching in 2005.

Since I started teaching, I have met many wonderful people. Many students have come to the school, and I have found fulfillment, purpose, and joy. However, I also sacrificed health, I lost my studio because the the building would be demolished for a hotel , and faced difficult situations such as Covid. Being able to do this for 20 years is a very big milestone, and I'm filled with gratitude.

I am very excited to show the history and culmination of 20 years.

I appreciated if you would like to support the performance.

It will cost easily over $20.000 - $25.000 to produce the performance like this in NY but I don’t want to regret! I don’t want to give up!

ニューヨークダンスアーティストリー・ハリヤマバレエ主宰の針山真実です。

２０２５年はわたしのバレエスクール・ハリヤマバレエ開校より２０周年になります。

そこで来る２０２５年６月８日に1日限りのこれまでにない、盛大なる２０周年パフォーマンスを企画し、２０年間の歴史と集大成を披露したいと思っています。

このパフォーマンスが出来ることも、20年間ここまで続けて来れたことも、まずは生徒たちのお陰です。みなさまと幸運20周年を迎えること、今日まで続けてこられたことにとても感謝しています。

20年という節目は一度しか迎えることはありません。20年の想いを込めたパフォーマンスを手がけたい！と考えています。

それにはニューヨークては多くの費用が必要です。

おそらく20.000ドルは超えて25.000ドルほど必要になります。

ニューヨークに２００３年に留学生として渡米し語学を学びながらバレエピアニストとして活動し、自らのバレエクラスをはじめて開講したのは２００５年でした。

そして多くの方が生徒としてハリヤマバレエに通って来てくださり、なんと２０年が経つのです。

たくさんの出会いがあり、やり甲斐、生き甲斐、喜びを味わってきました。

しかし頑張りすぎて体調を崩したり、スタジオの立ち退き、コロナなど大変なことも色々とありました。今もコロナの影響から抜け出せてはいませんが、でも今こうして２０年続けて来れたことは本当に大きな節目になり、感謝の気持ちでいっぱいです。

この20周年パフォーマンスで悔いを残したくない、諦めたくない！

一度限りの公演を大成功にするために頑張りたいです。
