<div>My name is Mami Hariyama from NY Dance Artistry - Hariyama Ballet.

<div>2025 will be the 20th anniversary of Hariyama Ballet, my own ballet school.
</div>

<div><strong>I am very thankful that I have been able to continue and to come this far for 20 years. </strong>
</div>
<div><strong>Since I started teaching, I have taught many students and I have found fulfillment, purpose in life, and joy. However, I also sacrificed, and have been put in difficult situations. Being able to do this for 20 years is a really big milestone, and I'm filled with gratitude.</strong>

<div><em>I came to New York as a student in 2003, studied English, worked as a ballet pianist, and started my own ballet class teaching in 2005. </em>
</div>
<div><em>Since I started teaching, I have met many wonderful people. Many students have come to the school, and I have found fulfillment, purpose, and joy. However, I also sacrificed health, I lost my studio because the the building would be demolished for a hotel , and faced difficult situations such as Covid. Being able to do this for 20 years is a very big milestone, and I'm filled with gratitude.</em>

<div>たくさんの出会いがあり、やり甲斐、生き甲斐、喜びを味わってきました。

<div>しかし頑張りすぎて体調を崩したり、スタジオの立ち退き、コロナなど大変なことも色々とありました。今もコロナの影響から抜け出せてはいませんが、でも今こうして２０年続けて来れたことは本当に大きな節目になり、感謝の気持ちでいっぱいです。
