Support NYC Public School Students

For the past several months, buses transporting tens of thousands of migrants from Central and South America have been arriving in New York City. Families have arrived with no personal belongings, little food and water, and false promises of finding the support they’re seeking. Many of them are children who have been put into the New York City public school system without the least supplies or personal effects. It is difficult enough for these kids to navigate life in a new country under such extenuating circumstances without the basic needs necessary to get through the school day. I am asking for assistance to help with buying personal hygiene items, toiletries, clothing, school supplies, and other necessary personal effects to help ease some of the strain they’re facing. Despite the many challenges they’re facing, these young people are here and motivated to come to school every day with a smile on their faces. Please contribute to their basic needs as much as you are able. Any contribution will be greatly appreciated.
