Hello, my name is Jennifer and I am making this GoFundMe for my dear family friend. Noel Casarrubias was taken from ICE on June 10th 8:30am outside his workplace in Oxnard. Noel was simply working, trimming a tree outside the workplace when ICE agents (about 15 vans) surrounded him and took him in as well as his coworker. Noel has NO warrants, NO criminal record, nothing to indicate he was a danger to our community. He is currently being held at immigration detention leaving his wife and 4 year old daughter without support. I will post more update as they come in but Noel’s family ask for any help you can give to pay for the legal bills. I thank you all in advance and please keep this family in your prayers. Hola, me llamo Jennifer y estoy creando esta campaña de GoFundMe para mi querido amigo de la familia. Noel Casarrubias fue detenido por ICE el 10 de junio a las 8:30 a. m. afuera de su lugar de trabajo. Noel estaba simplemente trabajando, podando un árbol afuera del lugar de trabajo, cuando agentes de ICE (unas 15 camionetas) lo rodearon y se lo llevaron, junto con su compañero. Noel no tiene órdenes de arresto, ni antecedentes penales, ni nada que indique que fuera un peligro para nuestra comunidad. Actualmente se encuentra detenido en un centro de detención migratoria, dejando a su esposa y a su hija de 4 años sin sustento. Publicaré más actualizaciones a medida que lleguen, pero la familia de Noel solicita cualquier ayuda que puedan brindar para cubrir los gastos legales.
