Hi everyone, this is Darren Scarafile from Advanced Chiropractic and Physiotherapy.

Noah, my beloved son, was 2 years old when he was diagnosed with Muscular Dystrophy. That day is engraved in our lives; it has changed everything for us, but especially Noah. Muscular Dystrophy has many forms, but his was not genetic; his was called a "spontaneous fluke" that turned on or off the switch in his genetic makeup. I believe I know the day it happened; it constantly replays in my head. I strongly believe it involves something we all are required to receive at certain ages in our lives. With unanswered questions, my family and I packed what we could a few years ago and moved to Florida from upstate New York, in hopes John Hopkins had the specialties Noah so desperately needs. We have been living in Florida for 3 years now and still have unanswered questions. Even with all the obstacles Noah has and continues to face, he remains resilient. He enjoys building Legos and playing video games that help strengthen his muscles. Noah will be 21 years old soon and has spent over 15 years in a wheelchair but has never complained about his situation, for he knows God has a purpose for him! He is graceful, kind, humorous, and compassionate. We are pleading for help for Noah and many like him. The van that our family currently uses to get Noah to and from treatments and doctor appointments is breaking down on us. We would love to start a new treatment that includes stem cells that will dramatically improve Noah's quality of life! This can possibly turn that switch back on or off if we can change his circumstances. And I pray this will also change the lives of other children like Noah! Thank you from the Scarafile family!!!
