For the past two years, Justen and I have dedicated our lives to being foster parents. Recently, we had a kiddo who had been with us for a year leave our care to reunite with his grandparents. While we are so happy that kiddo is in a safe and happy home, it broke our hearts to see him go. Through our foster journey, Justen and I have realized our purpose in life is to be parents. We have time and time again fallen in love with our foster children and loved watching them grow.

With all our experience, passion, and dedication through foster care, we have decided to begin a forever family of our own through adoption. We are ready and excited to hopefully welcome our own little one into our home someday soon.

However, the cost of adoption is surprisingly expensive, ranging from $40-85k. The costs include lawyer fees, agency fees, fees to match with an expectant mother, travel expenses, and more.

While we have the means to financially support and care for a child once they're here, the reality is there is a substantial amount of money needed upfront to bring our child home.
