Hi, my name is Nina. I'm a hardworking mom of a 2-year-old and a 4-year-old. On 11/09/2024, my 2016 Kia Sorento was stolen while I was at work. It was involved in a high-speed chase and totaled. Insurance cannot do anything at this time due to the vehicle being a part of evidence. I'm still required to make payments on this vehicle, so saving for another one is very difficult at the moment. I work full time and typically use the car to bring my kids to daycare. I don't want to lose my job which can lead to losing a roof over our heads. I wouldn't be asking for help if I didn't need to. I don't want this situation to affect work, family life, or other expenses. Personally, I'm not okay because this is such an inconvenience. I'm trying to get a new SUV. Gap sadly did not cover everything, so I had to pay a decent amount because of their threat to incur interest every day on the account. As of 6/11/25 I was terminated from my job which I had no notice. I had this job for 7 years and 8 months and I am currently looking for another job but it's so difficult to get hired. Any donation, I'd appreciate so much; of course, anything helps. Just trying to keep a roof over our heads and take care of my kiddos as well.
