On Sunday, June 28th a three-alarm brush fire went through a small local city of Niland and destroyed over 40 homes, in particular a home belonging to a San Diego Regional Center family, whose youngest child is served by Early Start.  This family consists of both parents, and 7 children, including Devin 13, Derek 12, Dylan 11, Driana 10, Alberto 9, Aliana 7, and Mickey 2. The family is safe, healthy and together, but the fire engulfed their home and displaced them to a hotel.
