Every Purchase Supports a Bigger Picture... But We Need Your Help.
When people walk through the doors of Gather & Graze, they see a welcoming coffee house serving homemade food, great coffee and a friendly smile.
What they don't always see is what every single purchase makes possible.
Gather & Graze was created with one purpose: to support Nightingales Recovery and the people who need us most. Every penny of profit made through the coffee house is reinvested directly back into helping our local community here on the Wirral.
- We aren't a large national charity.
- We are your neighbours.
- We are local people helping local people in our community.
Every week we support individuals and families facing some of life's toughest challenges. We provide recovery support, wellbeing activities, a safe place for people to belong, and, twice every single week, we provide free meals for those struggling to put food on the table. Alongside this, we provide a Social Supermarket offering free packed food to anyone who needs it.
For many, those meals are more than food.
- They are dignity.
- Hope.
- A reminder that somebody cares.
As if that wasn't enough, our freshly baked dog treats have their own special purpose too. Every penny of profit from those treats is donated to Celandine Wood Animal Rescue, helping vulnerable animals find safety, care and forever homes.
So when someone buys a coffee, a sandwich or a dog biscuit, they're helping people and animals across our community.
With us, every purchase supports a bigger picture!
Why We Need Your Help
Our dream has always been bigger than the four walls of our coffee house.
We have a large courtyard with incredible potential, but right now it sits largely unused because we simply don't have the funds to transform it.
With your support, we can create a beautiful community garden that becomes so much more than extra seating.
- It will become a place where people come together.
- A place filled with laughter, music and friendship.
- A place that generates even more income to keep supporting local charities and vulnerable people.
Our vision includes:
- A welcoming outdoor seating area for more customers.
- Summer BBQs bringing the community together.
- Acoustic music evenings supporting local musicians.
- Outdoor yoga and wellbeing sessions.
- Family events and seasonal celebrations.
- Charity fundraising events.
- Community workshops.
- A peaceful garden where people can simply sit, breathe and feel safe.
More seating means we can welcome more customers.
More customers mean more income.
More income means more free meals, more recovery support, more community projects and more help for people who need it most.
This isn't about building a nicer Coffee House.
It's about building a stronger community.
Why This Matters?
The cost of living continues to affect so many people.
Every week we meet people who are lonely.
People recovering from addiction.
People struggling with their mental health.
Families who don't know where their next meal is coming from.
People who simply need someone to believe in them.
Our courtyard could become the heart of our community but only if we can afford to bring it to life.
