Nicole is a devoted single mother to her 10-year-old son, Halph. She works hard for the local school district and is known for her kind heart, always supporting others and staying active in her church community. Recently, Nicole faced a serious health crisis—she underwent three major surgeries, including the removal of her uterus due to fibroids and a severe infection. She has been in the ICU for several days, and while she is slowly recovering, her doctors expect her recovery to take at least eight weeks or more.

During this time, Nicole is unable to work, which has put a significant financial strain on her and her son. The most urgent needs are covering rent, utilities, and groceries so that Nicole and Halph can focus on her healing without the added stress of bills piling up. Despite everything, Nicole remains grateful for the support of her family, friends, and church community. Halph is coping as best as he can, but this has been a challenging time for both of them.
