This morning, Nicole Irvin, Head of Circulation at the Groton Public Library, and her family lost their home in a devastating fire. In just a few hours, they lost everything—including their pets.

Nicole lives and works here in Groton and is a familiar, caring presence at the library. Through her work in adult community outreach, she has helped countless people with kindness, patience, and genuine care.

Right now, Nicole and her family are facing the overwhelming task of starting over. This fundraiser is to help cover immediate needs like clothing, temporary housing, food, and other essentials, along with the many unexpected costs that come with rebuilding after a loss like this.
