Hello everyone,

My name is Elissa and I'm reaching out on behalf of my daughter(Nicole) and two grandchildren(Hailey, age 9 & Mitchell, age 5).

On October 16th Nicole and the children returned home from work & school to find Riley unresponsive on the floor.

Nicole told the children to wait in another room and called 911. She started CPR, but it was already too late and Riley was gone.

She was only 27 when she passed due to complications from her heart condition (an idiopathic third degree heart block).

We are absolutely shocked and devastated;

she was in stable condition and had a functional pacemaker.

Riley was preparing for her I.T. course final exams that she had been taking this past year.

This is a crushing blow to Nicole and the children. Haley and Mitchell absolutely adored her; she quickly became a second mother to them and completed the family. Nicole and Riley's love was pure and unconditional; Riley was the love of Nicole's life and her loss has left a void in the family.

We've all been incredibly blessed to have shared our lives with Riley and we will treasure those moments forever, but it makes losing her all that much more painful.

Our priority is to support and maintain stability for Nicole and the little ones as they try to navigate a life without Riley.

Our goal is to ensure that Nicole has the funds to cover rent, utilities, provisions, counseling for the children and herself, and the real possibility of having to find more affordable housing in the near future as they grieve.
