Hello!

I'm Nick, 14 years old from the UK and I've been given the amazing opportunity to go to Peru on a 4-week expedition with Camps International in 2025.

In Peru I'll be participating in community projects where I'll be helping out with clean water and sanitation projects as well as assisting in school and housing improvements. The money I raise will go towards my trip (obviously), but also towards helping those in need in the community.

To do this I need your help in raising the funds needed and any contribution you can make is greatly appreciated. While there I'll also get the opportunity to visit the old ancient Inca city of Machu Picchu. It's a 5 day trek through the Andes along the Salkantay Trek. I hope the views will be this good!

As I mentioned, I’ll be travelling from camp to camp helping out with various projects, but I’ll also get a chance to immerse myself in the culture, learning how to cook their food and hopefully get to know a bit about the local history.

I do enjoy my treks and I’m often going off-path to find new things to explore. Hopefully I’ll get to see a lot of wildlife. I really like animals and I’m hoping to see things I haven’t seen so far and get a lot of photos of them as well.
