Support Nicholas Walden Sr.'s Fight for His Children
Donation protected
This fundraiser is for Nicholas Walden Sr.
A dedicated father who is facing one of the most painful realities a parent can experience — being alienated from his children.
Despite doing everything he can to remain present, supportive, and involved with Nicholas Jr. & Cainen, Nick, along with our side of the family, have been shut out of Junior and Cainen's lives due to interstate court order challenges and a lack of legal representation. The emotional toll is heavy — not just for him, but for the children who absolutely adore and idolize their father. The children deserve the love and presence of both parents and both sides of their family.
Nick has always exceeded his legal responsibilities to provide for not only his biological children but for his stepson and his ex-wife throughout their marriage, separation, and post-divorce. Nick has extended himself for many years to exceed obligations, at times having the three boys living with him in Colorado while he was on active duty in the Army and working two additional jobs. When Nick didn’t have the boys and they lived in Texas while he was in Colorado, Nick would leave work Friday evening to arrive in Texas Saturday morning, just to spend the day with them and head back to Colorado Sunday. Nick left his career in the military to be even more involved with his children, and it is unfortunate to see those plans not come to fruition.
Nicholas Jr. & Cainen have moved from state to state, oftentimes in the middle of the school year. Visitation for the boys to be with Nick and our family has been sporadic and sparse. Opportunities to see the boys have been at random times with short windows to act. Nick has dropped everything and left at a moment's notice to drive to different parts of the country on multiple occasions.
Nick works 7 days a week, at least 2 shifts a day, to pay for attorney fees and state legal fees as all of his past contributions are considered “gifts” by the state, and enforcement of the visitation order isn’t being followed by the other parent. Nick continues to work this way for his sons even after being warned multiple times about his growing health issues.
Nick always refuses help and never talks about his struggles mentally, physically, and financially. So we are taking it upon ourselves to help Nick reunite with Junior and Cainen.
Nick's current estimated costs with a phenomenal family law attorney are $8,000, and we expect that will grow as the case progresses.
He’s currently battling parental alienation and urgently needs help covering the legal costs to:
• Hire a qualified attorney
• Advocate for joint consistent visitation & contact
• Ensure the children's best interests are centered
Your donation helps:
• Reunite a child with their loving father
• Provide legal advocacy in a complex custody battle
• Send a message that fathers matter in a child's life
No amount is too small. If you can’t donate, please share. Every bit of support counts.
Let’s give this father, a truly great dad, the tools he needs to be the father he’s always been.
Thank you for standing up for an amazing father & 2 amazing young boys.
