Cancer sucks. Our family is learning that firsthand. Our uncle Nick recently had emergency surgery to remove a large tumor from his brain, from there he was later diagnosed with an aggressive form of brain cancer. This life saving surgery was just the first step. Nick is now facing memory issues and a long recovery that includes ongoing treatments, rehabilitation, and follow up care.

Nick is a proud dad to his 4-year-old son, Huxton, who means the world to him. He is truly one of the most selfless people you could meet, the kind of man who would give the shirt off his back to help someone in need. Now, it’s our turn to be there for him.

Our family is asking for your support and patience as we navigate this difficult journey. We want Nick and his family to be able to focus on his treatments, his recovery, and making precious memories with Huxton , not on the financial stress that comes with emergency medical situations. We also want to give a huge thanks to his significant other, Mary, who has been on top of everything from hospital stays to doctor updates, and continues to be Nick’s rock through all of this.
