Ngombor Community Development Alliance (https://ngombor.org), in Uganda is working to create a thriving community hub in Nebbi District that supports sustainable and diverse agriculture and careers in IT.

We're working to build a permaculture model farm that long term will be a regional hub supporting other smaller community groups in Northern Uganda.

Together, we can help Ngombor grow into a thriving community hub — not just a farm, but a place where skills, resources, and inspiration spark other community-led projects across our region. Ngombor’s mission goes beyond food security: we aim to bridge the digital divide through IT training, local meetups, and knowledge-sharing, creating opportunities for youth and community groups to learn, connect, and build new livelihoods.

Thanks to our generous donors and savvy on the ground support basic construction is complete. There is still important construction work to do (such as building a well) but we're shifting the nature of this GoFundMe to feeding and education, rather than capital works.

Currently Ngombor’s monthly operating budget is $290 USD! With this modest amount we provide a free monthly community feeding and training day. Volunteers cook a free breakfast and lunch and provide permaculture, sustainable agriculture and community development training.

This work is especially valuable given the Ebola crisis and the level of poverty and malnutrition.
